Originally from North Yorkshire and currently living in Crouch End London, Asha trained at the London Academy of Performing Arts.
Over the last ten years she has gained many musical theatre and television credits to her name including The Far Pavilions at Shaftsbury Theatre and The Lion of Punjab at Waterman's Theatre. She has also played the character of 'Gemma' and 'Nurse Rita Kumar' in Coronation Street and 'Nurse Jenkins' in Wire In The Blood.
Asha is also part of Kuljit Bhamra's ongoing production of Chutney in The Street, in which she plays the princess in the magical musical love story - a show that performed at Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia.
Asha is also a keen Cellist and has a passion for vintage dresses. Other interests include travelling and animal welfare & conservation - her volunteering work has taken her all over the world - from Thailand and South India to Borneo.Return to cast listings
