Born in Cambridge, schooled in south Yorkshire and Norwich and trained in Bristol, Steven now lives with his wife, two children (and Monty the dog) in Ealing, West London/
Steven started playing guitar at the age of 10 and performing live at the age of 13 - making his professional debut 28 years ago. He went on to perform in the Royal National Theatre production of School for Scandal with an amazing cast including Hugh Bonneville and Tom Hollander.
He also took the lead role in "Buddy" in the West End as 50's rock legend Buddy Holly, taking in Broadway and the UK and then going on to perform with his own band (Buddy Holly and the Cricketers) which included a live duet with Richard Madeley on This Morning to around 8 million viewers!
Other credits include Royal Shakespeare company tours of The Hollow Crown to Australia twice, New Zealand and Toronto with Sir Derek Jacobi, Sir Donald Sinden, Ian Richardson, and Dame Diana Rigg, Vanessa Redgrave and Alan Howard.Return to cast listings
